Caroline Frugé, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle surgery. With more than three years of professional experience, Dr. Frugé proudly serves patients at Foot & Ankle Premier Specialists, with locations in Hoboken and Bloomfield, New Jersey, and a New York City office in Midtown West, Manhattan.

A Louisiana native, Dr. Frugé graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2012. Passionate about podiatric medicine, she soon enrolled in New York City’s competitive New York College of Podiatric Medicine program. After graduation in 2016, Dr. Frugé completed her podiatric medicine and surgery residency in New York City at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills in Queens and served as chief resident during her final year.

Throughout her residency, Dr. Frugé received extensive training in reconstructive surgery of complex foot and ankle deformities, including flat foot reconstruction, trauma, and limb salvage. She also completed advanced training in treating difficult wounds, including skin grafting, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other advanced wound care techniques.

As a former dancer, Dr. Frugé is personally invested in dance medicine and sports medicine. Her other areas of expertise include pediatrics, arthroscopy, plastic surgery, diabetic care, and general foot care.

Dr. Frugé is a compassionate podiatrist who’s committed to providing her patients with quality care when they need it most. She understands that foot and ankle injuries are almost always unexpected, so she always listens to her patients’ concerns and questions before moving forward with treatment. From ankle sprains and fractures to Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis, Dr. Frugé has the skills and experience to deliver the best podiatric care for every patient she meets.

When she isn’t working with patients, Dr. Frugé loves to travel. She also enjoys taking yoga and ballet classes whenever possible. Her daily self-care routine always includes watching old Netflix sitcoms with her husband and two cats.
